It appears to be a Chrome extension called Ghostery (an ad blocker) and I think that an update (or perhaps fresh install in this case). Selecting "Trust Site" or disabling the "Enhanced Anti-tracking" seems to do the trick. Uninstalling also works...
I also use Ghostery on the laptop but have Trusted a ton of sites since. But I also have uBlock Origin and I’m never sure which is causing the problem. Maybe both.

I use Adblock on the tablet and uBlock Origin on the desktop plus FB Purity on Facebook. All seem to be ok in terms of not affecting Blogger.
