I've a growing problem with an accumulation of ride badges - I'm not about to stop riding and buying badges but need a way to store/display them. I have an idea of what I want to do but would be keen to hear other people's suggestions...
I recognise a few of those baadges Andrew! My solution is completely unoriginal where they all end up in the top drawer of my bedside table, along with spare car keys, watches I don't wear and other smallish things which I no longer recognise the function of.
When I'm asleep, the badge gnomes come out of hiding and open the securing pins so that I inevitably get stabbed next time the hand goes in the drawer. your cap idea is far superior!
I've seen two ways. Dougie has these wooden plaques that have slots for the pins to sit in. They hold 6 or so badges each and he had several. I think he got them from the people that run the Cold Kiwi or something.
The other is to put a net onto a frame and pin the badges to that. I got some net to do it but never got around to getting a frame so the badges are all still lying around.
