I got a kick out of your first day report: After the nasty bill from the mufti cop, you rode through to Springs Junction on a neat (and fast) bit of road…
Don’t (we) motorcyclists ever learn?! We go from angrily cramming a speeding ticket into a jacket pocket to—minutes later—cranking the throttle back above the limit. Man, riders should be exempt from all road rules: Really, we’re only endangering ourselves.
I’m glad to hear that the PR4’s are still laying down the miles, er, kilometers.

It may have been a fast bit of road but I was much better behaved by then...
DeleteThe PR4's are superb!
Fabulous write up of the trip.
ReplyDeleteI guess it was your turn to get a performance award. Next time it will be someone else's. At least you didn't let it ruin the mood of the event.
I imagine you were knackered by the time you got home, but yet exhilarated at finishing another one. Congrats.
Always good to get to the finish but I'm ready for another go now...
