Nice write-up Andrew! From your photos, there seem to be far more adventure bikes and cruisers on the ride these days than sportier machines. BTW, happy birthday, old fella! :-)
Cheers Geoff. Plenty of people are picking Adv bikes these days as they are comfortable, easy to ride and capable of touring any road well. Give me a windy, bumpy back road and I'd toast a squid on a sports bike and not arrive sweating from the effort. Put sticky rubber on and it'd be embarrassing...
