Yeah, when your country is small, wringing the neck off the poor little 250 is bearable but when outback fuel stops (ie “towns” and I use that word loosely) are 250km apart then a bigger engine makes it bearable. You just need to then suck up the downside in the really tight, gnarly stuff.
