I watch with amazement when these guys ride! If I am dragging a knee, shoulder, or elbow, it usually means I have crashed. WOW spectacular is all I can say.
Andrew, I've a few friends who used to (a long time ago, when bikes were much slower) race. The question came up one day, as we were watching a race on t.v., "Did you ever scrape your knee on the tarmac like that when you were racing?" And the answer was, "Yup, just before my body hit the track." The skill these racers have today is unbelievable ... wouldn't want to be one though.
It is like he meant to do it. Maybe he is just learning how to drift the bike in the corners at speed, yeah that's it........
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure he has anything more to learn about riding...
DeleteJust incredible!

ReplyDeleteI would have thought that you'd be teaching your students stuff like that by now...

ReplyDeleteThey are incredible riders and the bike and tyre technology is unbelievable. I wonder what racing will look like in ten years...
