So disappointment comes with some savings...
But, all three bikes have required some rego becuase it's dangerous to me for them to be parked in the shed. What chances do I have on a refund - zero, zip, nada...assume the position...

ReplyDeleteHaha - serve you right for having so many toys ;-) .
ReplyDeleteDo you have a Kiwi fuel card? Mine came a couple of days ago and was $66 for one top-up of our car and a drop for the boat in readiness for being allowed out again. Frustrating, innit?
I have a cool-as employee rewards card which gives me an excellent discount at Mobil and small discounts at some of the other robbers.
DeleteWhat price per litre have you guys seen these last few weeks? The lowest it got here was 0.83 last week. Not bad if we could actually use it. ;(
ReplyDeleteDunno, haven't taken a lot of interest...
DeleteThe net says about $1.86 here. Geoff will be paying a lot more 'cos he's a Jaffa.
Choke, splutter.....
DeleteYou're right about paying more though ar Coromandel Town is right at the end of the supply line as far as distribution costs go. I get a good discount but before the crisis, local posted pump prices were NZ$2.12/lt for 91 and NZ$2.24/lt for 95. Current posted prices are NZ$1.76 for 91 and NZ$2.12/lt for 95. Captive market with little alternative.
Ours was between $1.40 and $1.60 a litre before the crisis. it seems to be back up to about $1.20 as thing start to ramp back up.
